Doud Mesa BTS was formed to jointly pursue build to suit development opportunities in partnership with Doud BTS, Inc. ("DBTS"), headquarted in Golden Colorado.

 

Both Mesa and Mr. Ben Doud have extensive experience in single tenant net leased development across the United States across a wide range of industries.

 

Mesa Real Estate Partners, LP – Relevant Experience:

In late 2010 and early 2011, the firm’s principals identified a need for institutional funding to provide development capital and sale leaseback financing for oilfield service companies expanding across basins throughout the Lower 48.

In August of 2011, B29 Investments, the family office of John and Steve Schmitz, capitalized a net leased industrial fund with several leading energy industry investors and professionals.

The firm subsequently developed and purchased 79 assets over a two-and-a-half year period and sold its portfolio to a REIT in July of 2014 for $295mm.

 

 

Doud BTS – Relevant Experience:

Ben Doud, by and through DBTS, has developed over 6,000,000 square feet of singlet tenant buildings across 21 states totaling $600,000,000.

On average, since 2005, DBTS has developed approximately $20,000,000 of projects annually.

Mr. Doud and his team have extensive design, development services, and construction management capabilities developed over 35 years in the development business.
